AQUATIC
RESPONSE.
From local lakes to seasonal flood zones, our Water Operations team is equipped for rapid surface rescue and victim recovery in hazardous aquatic environments.
Marine Tactics.
Water rescue requires specialized buoyancy gear and thermal protection. Our technicians are trained in Swift Water Level 1 & 2, allowing us to operate in moving currents and floodwaters safely.
By integrating medical care directly into our water response, we ensure that treatment for hypothermia or drowning begins the moment the victim is pulled onto the craft.

Water Safety Tiers
Reach / Throw
Initial shore-based rescue using throw-bags and reaching poles.
Row / Go
Deploying Starfish 1 or technicians in dry suits for direct contact.
Medical Transfer
Immediate ALS intervention provided by the Rescue Medic.
Aquatic Survival
Technical Gear for Hostile Waters
Hypothermia Control
Even in summer, submerged victims lose body heat 25x faster than in air. We use active warming blankets and heated IV fluids.
Current Reading
Our pilots are trained to read 'Eddies' and 'Strainers' in moving water to position the boat safely for rescue.
Tethered Ops
For dangerous spillways, we utilize high-strength ropes to anchor Starfish 1 against powerful currents.
