This includes: (A) Identifiers: Discord Snowflakes, usernames, and IP addresses; (B) Activity: Command usage, log data, and recruitment responses; (C) Technical: Browser metadata and device fingerprints. All submitted data is the Exclusive Property of Northeast Guilford Fire Department.

How Do We Process Your Information?

We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with departmental regulations. We may also process your data to maintain a historical archive of personnel actions.

We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e., 'legal basis') to do so under applicable law, such as with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.

We maintain a Perpetual Retention Policy. Information is kept indefinitely to maintain the integrity of our blacklist, personnel dossiers, and community archives. We do not recognize requests for data purging as our administrative history is vital to departmental security.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. However, by joining this department, you acknowledge that certain data (logs/dossiers) is essential to operations and may be exempt from standard deletion requests.

Do-Not-Track Controls

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature. At this stage, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
